EXHIBITION

The Louis Vuitton Foundation, in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and the SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen, presents "Matisse, The Red Studio," dedicated to the genesis and history of this famous 1911 masterpiece.
 

The exhibition reunites the artworks depicted in The Red Studio for the first time since they left Matisse's studio in Issy-les-Moulineaux, enriched with unpublished archival documents and contextual works.

 

Over 100 works, including six paintings, three sculptures, and a ceramic, illustrate the artist's journey and the painting's intricate story.
